ALSAMARAT Trading Company participated in the Abu Dhabi Food Week Exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, (ADNEC). The company showcased a variety of agricultural products cultivated in its farms across the UAE. ALSAMARAT currently produces around 30 types of fruits and vegetables, which are distributed in the local market and exported to several countries, most notably Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Germany, and Sweden.
Amrou Shahin, Chairman of the Board of ALSAMARAT Trading Company, said in a press statement on the occasion of participating in the Global Food Week:
“We manage and supervise 16 farms within the UAE, producing a wide range of agricultural products such as different varieties of lettuce, Indian and local zucchini, tomatoes, okra, melon, pumpkin, and other crops that are witnessing growing demand among local consumers. In addition, we export our agricultural products to more than 15 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman, as well as dates and fruits to Germany and Sweden.”
Shahin added: “We are keen to expand our operations in the local market by increasing production and diversifying the types of fruits and vegetables we cultivate, especially in light of population growth and the rising demand for agricultural products. We also aim to open new international markets in addition to the existing ones, which will further enhance our business and drive its growth in the coming years.”
He noted that the farms managed by the company in the UAE adopt the latest agricultural methods, enabling the cultivation of new varieties with high quality. He added that ALSAMARAT’s products are available across various retail outlets and stores throughout the UAE, with plans for further expansion in the near future.
He also revealed that the company has developed a smart application utilizing artificial intelligence tools to manage its farms, which has helped improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality. Shahin emphasized that the company is committed to adopting the latest technologies to support and advance its operations.
He explained that ALSAMARAT Trading operates in the field of importing and exporting agricultural products through air, sea, and land shipping, ensuring the availability of a wide variety of agricultural goods to consumers.
Shahin stated that the Global Food Week held in Abu Dhabi represents an important opportunity to promote and introduce the company’s products, as well as to explore potential cooperation with participating companies and investors, opening new horizons for fruitful investment partnerships among various stakeholders.
