Hans brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including more than 15 years in pivotal leadership roles within Radisson Blu and Radisson Collection brands. His remarkable international expertise, honed across global markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, Slovakia, Russia, and China, makes him an ideal fit for the prestigious Mansard Riyadh.
Most recently, Hans served as Senior Director of Operations for China at Radisson Hotel Group and Jin Jiang International Hotels, where he successfully managed over 45 upscale and luxury properties. He is renowned for his ability to drive revenue growth, boost employee satisfaction, consistently exceed KPI targets, and elevate brand quality across entire hotel portfolios. This proven track record of excellence will now benefit Mansard Riyadh as he oversees all hotel operations and refines the overall guest experience, further solidifying the hotel’s position as one of the city’s leading luxury destinations.
Throughout his distinguished career, Hans has played a crucial role in enhancing hotel performance and building high-performing teams. His leadership has consistently delivered strong business results while upholding exceptional service standards. Notably, he spearheaded the successful recovery of Radisson hotels and Jin Jiang International Hotels in China post-pandemic, with a strong focus on revenue recovery, Gross Operating Profit growth and implementation of Brand Standards. He also managed a cluster of six hotels in St. Petersburg, totaling 3,000 rooms, and led the transformative conversion of Radisson Blu in Sochi into a Radisson Collection property, resulting in a remarkable 107% increase in profit and a GOP of 68.5%. His properties have also been the preferred venues for major international events, including the FIFA Confederations Cup, FIFA World Cup, Formula One, and high-profile presidential gatherings, establishing them as top choices for MICE, family, wedding, and spa segments.
Hans’ contributions have garnered significant industry recognition, including being named Best General Manager in Russia in 2021 by the International General Manager Awards, receiving Best Resort Hotel in Russia across multiple years by the Russian Hospitality Awards, and being recognized as Best Talent Developer within Radisson Hotel Group. Furthermore, he has championed sustainability efforts, with hotels under his leadership earning Green Key Environmental Certification and Blue Flag Certification for beach operations.
During the pandemic, he successfully maintained brand excellence and exceeded key performance metrics by rigorously applying RHG safety protocols. He was also a vital part of Radisson’s global taskforce for Elevating Radisson Collection.
