As part of the initiative, the hospital will host Keratoconus Care Day every Wednesday, offering complimentary screenings and consultations designed to help individuals identify potential signs of the condition and seek timely medical advice from eye care specialists
Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition that causes the cornea, the clear front surface of the eye, to gradually thin and bulge into a cone-like shape. This distortion can lead to blurred vision, increased sensitivity to light, and difficulties performing everyday activities such as reading, driving, and using digital devices.
